A Week Designed Just for Women Who Love Fly Fishing
Join a small group of passionate women anglers for an unforgettable week on Montana’s world-famous Madison River, one of the premier Blue Ribbon trout fisheries in the United States. Hosted by Diana Magistrelli, owner of Montana Spirit Guest Lodge, this retreat offers a perfect blend of fishing adventure, great food, comfort, and the camaraderie of like-minded women.
Last summer, a group from United Women on the Fly stayed with us — and their enthusiasm inspired this dedicated event. They fished the Madison, Yellowstone, and Henry’s Fork, and left asking for a “women’s week” to come back for more. This is it!
Why Fall Fishing Is So Special
September is a magical time on the Madison. The crowds are gone, the air is crisp, and brown trout begin their migration into our semi-private stretch of river. Expect consistent dry-fly and nymph fishing with active rainbows and browns.
Cooler weather and occasional cloudy days bring out the baetis hatch — a favorite for seasoned anglers.
Beyond the Madison, you’ll have easy access to:
- Henry’s Fork of the Snake River (Idaho)
- Gallatin, Firehole, and Gibbon Rivers
- Yellowstone River for native cutthroats
- Optional guided trips to Slough Creek or the Lamar River inside Yellowstone National Park
Your Montana Spirit Experience Includes

- All meals from Sunday dinner through Saturday breakfast (Wednesday evening is free to enjoy local restaurants)

Early-Bird Discount: Reserve with a $300 deposit by March 15, 2026 and save $50!
Final balance of $650 due July 2026.
After March 15, the full $1,000 rate applies.
